Summer transfer window 2023

Sulemana turned us down for Southampton, any other season that would be a low point.

They spent £22m on him and are loaning him out, how come?

Yeah but he also mentions Che Adams. I would be absolutely devastated if we signed him. It would be like the Maupay signing all over again and undo whatever else we do this window.

Was literally going to say this, it would feel exactly like the Maupay signing. Can’t wait for his little frienly interview about how he can’t wait to play at Goodison and all our fans suddenly forget how awful he is for a bit. Thelwell absolutely ADORES strikers who don’t score.

Did he? Im not even sure we had the money to bid. Maybe he doesnt want to play in the Championship or possibly has a clause?

If we can get a loan and he improves our attacking options then honestly I dont care. He done what was best for him at the time.

They supposedly have a deal in place that he can leave the club on loan of noone will buy him, in the event they were relegated (like lots of the Leeds squad had).

Don't know if it's true, but that's the rumour.
