Has anything been mentioned as to why he couldn’t get a look in at Spurs when they were as bad as they’ve been in about a decade?

They have Kane, Son and then Richarlison & Kulasevski ad back ups who are miles better than our players.

Not particularly enthralled by this one after January, and find it pretty strange if we are still interested.

But if we sign him, the decision to sign him will be based on how he performs, just like with any other player. He is a player who on paper should improve the squad, but I am not sure this would be a good idea.

the personnel they had and the amount of managerial changes they made. Is a new manager gonna risk playing the 4th or 5th choice when they've just come in?

I was annoyed at the time, but now it kind of makes sense, and I don't really blame him.

The manager he was signing for got sacked. The club was in a relegation scrap and he didn't know if the new boss would want him. Then along comes Champions League Spurs.

It didn't work out for him, but I understand why he did it.
