It’s much needed. We got lucky last season that Iwobi and McNeil were available nearly all the time. Gray was the only other option available out wide. If Gray goes it’s arguable we still need another wide player unless we’re hoping Dobbin can step up.
McNeil Elanga Iwobi Danjuma Dobbin - nothing to set the pulse racing but I’d be fairly confident we could put out two wide men each game who can put in the required work rate in attack and defence and chip in with an ok number of goals.
At the budget we’re operating at a wide forward who is guaranteed to score 10-15 PL goals is highly unlikely unless we find an absolute uncovered gem. Spurs paid 60 mill for ours and he scored once for them and he’s Brazil’s number 9. That’s the size of the challenge.

How do any of the naysayers in this thread find enough time to "scout" Elanga? Furthermore, I find the negativity particularly interesting as he barely plays for United! Don't tell me you've been sat there waiting for specifically the games he plays in.
