How do we finally get a billionaire to buy us but end up in a worse state than we where before
He’s not a self made Billionaire though is he? He was an associate of a entrepreneur who had influence politically and made massive gains during the breakup of the Soviet Union and was given financially lucrative contracts which FM advised his friend in and in return was given a % of his friends growing empire which forms the basis of his Billionaire status. The guys was clearly a decent accountant but has been lucky and has shown you can be decent at one thing but absolutely clueless about another.

Yeah, true. But there was a chart the other week that showed pretty much every club outside the usual were at similar levels. We were not even top, or bottom. Lawn mowers and blue gravel I guess.
Nearly every chart I've seen has us at the worst for wage to turnover ratios.

It's something ridiculous like 90-95% of our turnover.

Indeed a decent account operating in what is now widely known as the "mafia/gangster capitalism" state. Too generous!

Pretty much every other club, outside the top ones, are similar. Think Spurs are the lowest.

This is from Deloitte. We are the only team above 90 with Newcastle who just started investing in the squad.

We are head and shoulders the worst financial performers in the league.

So do the new shares issued add or subtract from totals, because appears to do both.

Forgive my lack of understanding, im not an acccountant.
He bought 27,031 shares from existing shareholders at £5k each (cost £135m paid to the shareholders he bought from). The club issued a further 100,000 shares at £3k each for £100m in cash (payable to the club) and the conversion of £200m of existing debt (already received by the club)

That totals £300m in new shares issued paid for by Moshiri. Add the £450m of debt still owed to Moshiri and you get to £750m

Plus we have £225m of external debt - all of this before the remaining estimated £360m for the stadium is found
