Most of us dreamed of playing for Everton when we were kids. Some of us dreamed of skateboarding to Finch Farm in a dressing gown and purple shoes. Very few get to live their dreams and everyone else hates them for it.

I dreamt of playing for Everton at old Trafford and being clean through on goal in the last minute,then I square it to a centre back who is offside....oh wait!

Considering we have never managed to sell him, then I doubt that we would anytime soon.

So you'd be happy going into the season with 4 CM's covering 3 positions and then just academy lads as backup?

....I‘d hope we can bring better in for a relatively small fee but I honestly don’t think we’d be worst off if we didn’t. You listed the CMs but Iwobi in there with 3 others is a better option. There are others who could play a no10 role.
