I liked Coady and think we have made a mistake getting rid. Should have paid the money and recouped it by selling Keane, Holgate & Godfrey. We have lost 2 of our better Cbs from last season and we know that Keane, Holgate and Godfrey are players that cost us so many points due to being gash. Holgate and Godfrey have to be the worse CBs in the air, in positioning and in passing. Utterly useless.

Id play coady in front of them 3 every day of the week. So unless we have something lined up its a worry we might be playing that lot next season.

If we haven't signed him then I hope the club has an actual plan

I mean, they probably won't, because the people who run the club aren't fit for purpose, but I can hope at least

Maybe this is the season we FINALLY sign Zouma to illusive permeant contract? lol

Singing another centre back when we already have Tarkowski, Keane, Holgate, Godfrey & Branthwaite isbt sensible.

We don't know if we're able to offload Holgate & Keane so adding another centre back makes no sense, he'll probably want a 3 contract in decent wages too

We need to remember we have 2 or 3 second rate CBs that no one will buy that we can’t just get rid of,
so to spend £4m on another is a waste of limited budget.
I’m hoping he’ll hang on to see if we can sell Godfrey/Holgate and then bring him back in.

Like last year when we needed a striker and started the season with a front 3 who had 25 career goals between them?
Well if we haven't learnt from that, we're only going one way.

And I just can't believe Dyche would except not atleast having a replacement lined up after losing 2 CB's.

Bit of a Difference between Dyche + Lamps

Even then, I'm not sure he's the right target, Dyche clearly didn't fancy him so would he even play regular games ?

He's not comfortable in a back 4 as he's not good enough in the air and lacking any kind of pace.

Like going into January with no striker and leaving with no striker
Sorry I forgot we Brought dyche in the beginning of the window.

Last season we took a massive gamble on DCL and cos of FFP we kept that gamble playing out in which we survived on the final day.
We've now lost 2 cb's aswell, do you really think we'll believe that gamble will come through in the end again.

We also just gave Dyche £3 million for keeping us up, dyche would have taken the job anyway. So that £3 million could of gone towards transfers if we didn't have some sort of plan.

Coady is like Tarks in that he is rarely injured. we should have kept him and sold Keane. We could have got more than 4 million for Keano

Him speaking well on the radio doesn't make him a better player
Agreed, but a player with modest talent who tries hard, is committed to the club, and thinks about the game is still better than our modest talents who seem in a semi-coma a lot of the time, and have consistently displayed an apparent inability to think at all.
