TV Series

The old argument again.
My all time top three programmes are Sopranos, The Wire and Breaking Bad.
I've ranked them in that order but previously I've said you could have struggled to get a bus ticket between the first two.
But oh my word, I've just been bingeing Tony and Co for the past three weeks and a classic instance of better the second time around. I'm just starting series five after effortlessly watching 52 previous episodes and it is peerless.
Succession has been in the news recently and from the sounds of it could give Sopranos a run for its money.

I really enjoyed breaking bad, but it got a bit too cartoonish towards the end for me with his giant magnets and the like. Thought the writing for better call Saul actually got even better.

Hard to split the wire or the sopranos

I know I'm late on this but I watched the final episode of Chernobyl tonight, watched the series over the last few weeks.
That's one heavy watch that, bit scary really, the statistics at the end and the official death toll being 31 is messed up.
Actually think it's one of the best HBO series I've seen, at least as good as Band Of Brothers.

That building still being dangerous decades from now, when there is nobody living on earth who was alive when the disaster happened, its quite thought provoking.

I avoided watching this for a while as it freaks me out but it was very good. Some excellent performances.
Can see why the Russians didn’t like it.
