Luton’s a hell hole btw. I gave evidence there in their civil court which inside a shopping centre, which is the centre of civil life. The surrounding area is a wasteland.
I use the airport every so often and I didn't quite realise how close to the town centre it is. Council owned too. Who thought that is a good idea????

You're right, the town is ultra depressing. Gives Stoke-on-Trent, Crewe, Dudley, Merthyr Tydfil, and Darlington a run for their money.

I have a few mates who follow Luton - all of them at the match today - but I have to agree that the town is bloody awful!

The danger is bad as we are, we'd get dragged into what I'm watching here. It's awful.
Ah, yeah, I've watched the odd championship match on sky this season and whenever I've seen either of this pair it's been pragmatic stuff.

Burnley and Boro played decent footie tbf. But only one is up. It's a long old season in the Championship, loads of teams scrap like mad. It's pretty key to getting through it.

I suppose there would be a logic in it if it were geared towards tourism, but I think there are hotels proximate to the airport.

When I went there, having booked a premier inn for the wrong date, I was advised to avoid 3-4 nearby hotels on account of their housing, variously; drug dealers, racists, prostitutes and other attractions.

Tbf, others might be interested.

Can I have a list of these hotels so I can avoid them in the future :)
