Just walking back from the game- I thought we played reasonably well and looked a threat on the break in the first half. At least we didn’t just roll over like we did against Newcastle.
I’d play McNeil left back over any other option. Especially if the alternative is Holgate. McNeil dealt with the ball over the top far more comfortably than Holgate.

Take McNeil out of midfield?

Our home form and the ability we think we have as fans to motivate the team is an absolute myth........ Leeds have won 4 more points at home,West Ham 7, Forest 9. These players don`t play for us or represent us!

Again we are back to relying on others...... IF DCL is back for Wolves and Bournemouth we have a chance, if not it is just playing them games without any focus or threat and hoping something falls for us.

We went behind and didn't compete. It was easy for City. We lost 3 nil at home. There's nothing to be happy about, other than we dont play City again.

I expected us to play with a lot more aggression and to be more competitive. Not to be 3 down a few mins after half time.

Just posted elsewhere if DCL is injured I’d play 3 at the back like we did today when Coady came on. McNeil gets up and down the pitch better than most and linked up well with Iwobi. Patterson on the other side.

All the moaning in the world isnt going to put things right at this club. Success is all down to money, paying the best salaries, which attract the best players. We need " Sand People" to invest in the club to ever get anywhere near the top clubs. We can chase a few rounds in the FA Cup Lge Cup but will never win nothing until big investment arrives and 3 seasons at least to attract the right players in. Breaks my heart having watched us from the late 50"s. Now got to the point of just accepting it.

I don't like losing heavily at home to anyone. I dont think it should be accepted under any circumstances.

I thought after Monday we would be more competitive and make it difficult. We were OK for 30.mins then sat off, then they scored, then we did nothing.

I don't know why you thought that. These are incompetent players. We have had more than enough evidence to know that by now.

All we are looking to do is fall over the line. We're not going to do that gloriously. We are where we are because this team is risible. One of five risible teams, three of whom will drop.
