Official ratings.

Pickford - 10 - Pulled off at least a trio of world class saves in the second half. Deserved a clean sheet, but was unfortunately helpless on the goal.
Patterson - 8 - Started slow but grew beautifully into the game. Eventually figured out Mitoma and had an excellent second half.
Tarkowski - 8 - Wasn't being beaten today in the air. Only looked a little troubled in the second half with a fresh Ferguson on the field.
Mina - 9 - Came in like we wanted and dominated in the air, calm on the floor, stayed on the field, and showed huge amounts of leadership.
Mykolenko - 7.5 - Did just about enough against March second half but was clearly being targeted. Thought he might have given away a soft penalty but kept his head and in the end looked decent enough.
Gueye - 9 - Thought he was outstanding. Mopped up absolutely everything and remained calm and composed.
Garner - 7 - Didn't notice him all that much to be honest but I don't think that's a bad thing as Brighton obviously didn't feel like they would win the central midfield battle today.
Iwobi - 9 - THAT'S how you answer your critics. What a superb performance from him today. Hard work, determination, non-stop running and assists. His best ever showing in an Everton shirt for me.
McNeil - 10 - Assisted, scored two great goals, helped Mykolenko in defence, ran himself into the ground. Like Iwobi, best performance for us. Made up for him.
Doucouré - 10 - Been a revelation under Dyche and what a time to grab two goals. So calm to knock both of those goals in as they were not easy, especially the second. Love his effort. He may be getting a new contract yet. Like the previous two, best Everton performance by him.
Calvert-Lewin - 9 - Looking fit as a fiddle, ran their defenders ragged, got them booked, brilliantly set up the first goal. When he plays like this we are five times the team. Transformative.

So many could be MOTM. Narrowed it down to between Pickford and McNeil but got to give it to McNeil. Outstanding all night and both of his goals were absolutely world class. He transformed into 'kin MessiMcNeil tonight just when we needed it.

For the first time this season, i actually have a bit of hope that we can escape the drop.

Come on you mighty blues. Love ya even though you destroy me the majority of the time. ;)
