Good point. Although that will just be a base to lay the original dock stones and rails and whatnot on top, which will presumably be last.

Always concerned me having the original cobblestones in a place full of half cut people, I wonder if there will be some kind of clear infill so people don't trip?

Not a lot more hazardous than the kerb down Goodison Road, have stumbled up that a few times!
