Can’t really bemoan VAR for that one, as the linesman didn’t even spot the man almost playing him on in the first place and flagged offside straight away.

You can draw those lines however you want and make it look reasonable. It may have been off but the system is so flawed.

I work in software....it should be fairly straightforward and its definitely not

The lines weren’t close to touching, in this day and age that’s not even a close call.

That is the exact reason i can't stand some of these offside goals, he doesn't score with his left arm he scored with his foot that's onside, that isn't a clear and obvious error in refereeing.

What about the remaining 45 min before that when we created sweet F.A. and didn't look like we have an organised attack or even like we're likely to score?

You can tell they wanted to disallow that goal, if it’s close for us, it’s off. That’s why McNeil is shooting from 40 yards, so he can’t be done for offside.
We’ve been like this all season though, get into the final 3rd and it all goes to pot.

Nah. As the case all season, the worst attack in the whole of the English football league. You get relegated in any league for that.

Fault lies with the board.

Board has its faults, but previous managers and some players aren’t totally blameless

What a disappointment. The better team and down 1-0. Good teams finish their chances and that’s what Newcastle did. Should not be down right now.
