Been stated that there is no physical release clause in his contract. There is however a verbal agreement if we go down he can go if a certain fee is met. Think it was quoted around 35 million. Now don’t know how true that figure is.
More fool him if trusted Bill to his word.

Didn't cover himself in glory at theirs when we tanked it after being 2-0 up but he's kept his cool against them at GP
I remember thinking last season when we beat them at Goodison that the tension was cranked right up and Pickford would have been baited by the Geordies into making an error.

If Begovic played tomorrow I'd have absolutely no concerns.

I must admit that I did think he'd make a knob of himself if he had played. But him missing gave us the spectacle of seeing grown up men from the North East adorned in cheap Tyrannosaurus Rex outfits making bigger bells of themselves for no reason.

He will be going to spurs for big money independently if we are stay up or not. They need a new goalkeeper. Hugo loris is beyond bad right now and probably should retire. I hope that we are lining up potential replacements.

Nailed on for Spurs. Hopefully we have someone else in charge by then so Bill doesn’t get his kecks pulled down again.

Can't imagine that he will be here next season.

I reckon there’s a few teams desperate for a new keeper. He’s worth 50 million

£55-60 million for a forward without a league goal this season - Tottenham would arguably be looking at a loss if trying to sell Richarlison at the end of this season. I think they would be delighted with £45 million for him after his contribution for them.

I see Utd coming in for Pickford. Tottenham will lose Kane in the summer. I don't see Pickford moving down south to watch go karting at the stadium.

I think most would wish him well if we received £50-60mil for him.

Ramsdale crap yet again. That with Pope being a disaster in his last England game, leaves Pickers with no opposition. England number one by a mile.

If Ramsdale played for Everton he wouldn’t even be an international, absolutely bang average.

He arguably should save 3 of the 4 goals last night. There’d be demands for Pickford to be thrown out the England set up if he’d done that.

Ramsdale doesn’t have the mentality for big games, neither does Pope. Put them in a crunch game against a top 6 team and theirs diving over balls, getting beaten at their near post, fumbling with their feet, and even handling outside their area.

Pickford as England number one is the easiest choice Southgate has in his entire squad.
