To be fair I’d be shocked if Soton won but the problems it would cause us if they did pull it off shows us how precarious a position we are in.

It would be a seismic result in the relegation battle overall.

Bold from the Southampton manager. Don’t see many come out these days and abandon all hope of getting out of their half and just make it clear they are going to do nothing but defend. Even in desperate times.

Going to be hard to get through with all these short fiddly passes and no target man. If Southampton defenders stay fully switched on for the duration, they can hold this. So many in the box.
