The Everton Board Thread

Correct.

Still iffy though for a private company who pushes their engagement at every opportunity.

We like to believe/think football is a very different business. Whether thats true...

To remove it is a shame and feels evasive to me.

This is my point. People should ask questions about it.

The law was changed, however companies whose articles of association required them were still required to hold them

Why did the club change the articles of association to remove the AGM?

Why? Is the timing not suspicious in itself?

I think it is. Raises questions as to what has been going on
You answered your own question
They don't want to hold them

I would say that there are people within Everton Football Club at board level (and below and Farhad Moshiri) with questions to answer

on why the EFC AGM was cancelled when it now emerges the Chairman was in ill health
But back to the question that was asked of you…….

I think it was cancelled as they are incompetent and don't want to answer for their mistakes and knew what was coming down the line R:E ffp.

Give up on your 'ill health' crusade and just focus on the incompetency, thats all thats needed and has the backing of the majority of the fan base.

What crusade?

I'm merely asking questions and indicating the timing of actions such as removal of the EFC AGM requirement was questionable

Especially if the Chairman was in ill health

Why do it?

And people should challenge that and ask questions. Its scandalous not to have the AGM platform to hold those that run the club to account. Even my local bar has a functioning AGM each year. I would say the majority of fans would agree an AGM should be held.

But i don't think for one second the reason for removing that platform is due to ill health of any board or staff member. They are running scared of being challenged on their incompetency and what they have done to our club.

Taking the focus away from that diminishes any arguments.

I have no doubt if I look at your posts going back , you’d be all over Dunc getting the job or moyes back or Cahill. Praising Tom Davies and let’s give him more time. And we need Bill to take back control over Moshiri’s. So obvious and your little rant proves it. Go and have a sit down fella and chill

Everton fan, my arse 🤣 happy clapper 👏👏👏
Hey Thicko, you find them posts yet?

Tag me in when you do. Ta x

I don't think it does personally

I have great sympathy to the shareholders and the likes of EFCSA

They've been treated terribly in my view

You seem to repeat the same lines over and over and over again.

You have your agenda of where you want to take the discussion and constantly try to diverge discussions. Thats a crusade to me.

How many people over months, weeks have replied to you and given their opinion that the AGMS were scrapped as they didn't want to answer questions on the state of the club under their watch, a very logical viewpoint based on what we are seeing with the ffp investigation, but yet you keep trying to pull it back to someones health.

Focus on their performance, not health.

I absoluetly agree. So just focus on that, im sure all blues would get behind that. Keep health out of it.

That's like saying don't talk about something relevant. It is relevant

We've had enough censorship or being told what we can and can't do at the club

I don't think it's right and its time individuals at the club were more transparent

No. I don't think your right and I won't be shut up about it either.

Again. Why cancel the EFC AGM when they did?

It's very questionable. Others see the same in this same thread.
