Watched Beef on Netflix. The story is far fetched to say the least but there are some great performances and if you just go with the story I'd say it's well worth watching.

Looks a bit gash. The best things about True Detectives 1 and 3 was the multi timelines and obsessions of the detectives. This could be anything.

Weird how they have the spiral thing from season 1 though, and Rust lived in Alaska.

Anyone watch that 3 part Agatha Christie series "why didn't they ask Evans" over the weekend??, I found it a bit boring but always love the Christie adaptions for the locations and fashions

I`m hoping, that Jodie Foster, has done due diligence on the writing and wouldn`t have got involved, if she thought it was a turkey.

The reality is, that they need to get McConaughey and Harleson back together, give them complete control over the writing and the production and do a full on sequel to the first one.

I’m rewatching the 1st one for about the 4th time. The reason it works is the way they split the timelines.
Don’t think a sequel would have anywhere near the same impact.

If done properly, there`s loads of stuff that never got answered in the first one.

I don`t think they`ll ever do it though, as it would tarnish the legacy of the first, of being the greatest Detective drama ever done ( unless the money was too good to turn down )

It gets pretty mad. It’s almost worth watching just for Isaac, the cousin.
