Watched Beef on Netflix. The story is far fetched to say the least but there are some great performances and if you just go with the story I'd say it's well worth watching.

Looks a bit gash. The best things about True Detectives 1 and 3 was the multi timelines and obsessions of the detectives. This could be anything.
Weird how they have the spiral thing from season 1 though, and Rust lived in Alaska.
I’m rewatching the 1st one for about the 4th time. The reason it works is the way they split the timelines.I`m hoping, that Jodie Foster, has done due diligence on the writing and wouldn`t have got involved, if she thought it was a turkey.
The reality is, that they need to get McConaughey and Harleson back together, give them complete control over the writing and the production and do a full on sequel to the first one.
