The best thing about today is that we have a golden chance to catapult ourselves into a space where we can see the finishing line whereas, others will still be way off getting sight of it.

If Monday night ends with us on 29 points and 13th, with S'ton, Forest and possibly Leicester looking like a very realistic bottom 3, then that'd be a fantastic outcome.

It could easily happen too.
That’s exactly where I am. We have a clear path out of this now and I’m confident we will grind out the results.

If we beat Spurs we beat a Mitriovic-less Fulham too.

Another win from soemwhere else and that's us pretty much over the line.

Monday's chance has to be taken. But even if we draw it'll still have us more than just alive in this fight.

Goodison knows what is at stake on Monday and it will be a bear pit.

Dyche will be rubbing his hands this evening.

Nah. Palace were never in trouble.

Putting a huge dent into Leicester was the better result by far.
Yes, definitely. Palace already had enough head room. Was a great late goal for us and keeps us out the bottom 3 without doing anything. Must have an effect physiologically not being im the bottom 3. A win on monday of course would be awesome! COYB.

Just what I wanted, Villa getting nicely warmed up for their game against Leicester. McGinn is a player which epitomises why fan opinion of players is often very wrong - horrible ugly unfashionable slogger that we’d all hate to be linked with, but hugely effective and no doubt loved by his teammates and manager.

Even if we're not in the bottom three (for now) think I still would've preferred a draw in that Palace game personally...
Not me, I’m greedy…I wanted Palace and Leicester both to lose today……it really is just about us…it’s great if we get some unexpected losses by our rivals…..we’ve had a couple of good weekends where other results seemed to go our way, it just was one of those weekends this week
