The Everton Board Thread

So what's going on with this minority investment then? All seems to have gone very quiet asides from a bit of chat about the 777 guys.

Do you actually believe that there’s any successful business people or consortiums willing to stump up a considerable sun of money to become a minority shareholder in a club run by the clowns that manage Everton.

Pure smokescreen when there was significant heat on the board.

Might be that as we look a lot safer than we did a couple of months ago there isn't as big a rush to get it signed.

Surely though we’re still going to need investment to get the stadium finished.

Quite possibly, although Moshiri said he could fund it but would rather outside investment to help. However that was a pretty lowball offer though for 25% of the club. No doubt due to the fact we were very uncertain to whether we'd still be a PL club and from his point of view we could have been all but in name down by this sort of date. So there was some urgency at that stage as anything thereafter would probably cause the club to be worth less.

Now it might just go the other way, a few wins on the bounce and perhaps that might change what he would be willing to accept. If we are still in the mix to go down later next month then perhaps he speeds through this deal just in case. This might all be guff and nothing to do with why it hasn't gone through but it's a logical discussion point as the parameters have changed since.

We don't want it anyway, we need a sale, a minority investment for a percentage will structure the club in a way that could put off potential buyers in the future.
We need them to buy us, not invest leaving Farhad in control.

25% of Moshiri's shares and a minimum of two appointments on the board.

Makes sense so maybe so.

What you mean of course is that YOU don't want it as it would spell the end of your beloved's reign and influence over Everton Football Club.

We cannot wait until Moshiri sells for there to be significant changes in the running of the club. We simply cannot have another season like the last two, and that means that there has to be a restructuring of the way this club is run and takes important decisions. The split between the Moshiri and Kenwright camps cannot be allowed to continue.

Ideally Moshiri would sell up but it is unlikely to happen at the end of this season. So he needs to bring in a new board comprising of people with competence, and leave the running of the club to them. In other words, the board as it is comprised at the moment needs to be dismissed and replaced.

In short - SACK THE BOARD. It would at least give us a fresh start for next season.

HAHAHA there is no changes in the running of the club unill Moshiri sells it, and you talk about significant changes? Don't be so nieve

Next season won't be much better then this, you are deluded if you think otherwise

and takes important decisions. The split between the Moshiri and Kenwright camps cannot be allowed to continue.
But you in your nieve widsom want to add a third camp? Don’t be so.dumb.

yeah he won't give it up, and him clinging onto it is a massive problem that getting small investment and giving away a small number of shares won't solve

So he needs to bring in a new board comprising of people with competence, and leave the running of the club to them.
This is what you can't see, he is incapable of doing that, for the past seven years the board he has put together has been his board, but you suddenly think he can put together a competent one?
In other words, the board as it is comprised at the moment needs to be dismissed and replaced.

It papers of his cracks at best, your blind loyalty to Moshiri is insane after what he has done to Everton over the last seven years
