Quick question. Are we in more dangerous position this season then last season relegation battle?
Last season I reckon.

For all our worrying about whether we will get 3 or 4 more wins, how are 6 of the other 9 also going to get that?

We are the most in form side out of all of them since Dyche came in and we have fight now.

Jarg analysis time.

I think if you’re Forest or Palace, you’re as worried as anyone right now. Can see them being in the bottom 3 in the next few weeks. Forest have tons of injuries and a championship squad, and Palace are facing the prospect of Woy and a have a squad with a questionable attitude.

Said it a few times recently but I think despite being bottom Southampton will survive. They’ve still got confidence and belief. Based on fixtures and squad strength I think Wolves will be fine. West Ham simply aren’t going down, they’ll win their next 2 home games.

Leicester can’t defend for toffee so could be bang in trouble hopefully. Hoping they stick with Brenda, but even if they twist the options are bleak.

Leeds and Bournemouth are in a very similar boat to us form wise, and like us, could easy put 2 or 3 wins together to be OK.

Prediction: Forest, Palace and Bournemouth to go down.

I think Forest go down. They look like a team who have collapsed Friday, and their run in is tough.

Palace could be a shock team who also collapse.

As for Southampton, I'm not sure I see it. 2 winnable home games, 1 point is just nowhere near good enough.

I think Forest have big problems. They are hopeless away from home and their remaining home games are tough. They will do well to stay up

That forest squad was built on sand. They got away with it up to the World Cup but then added more players again in January and it’s coming back to bite them.

When the going gets tough I don’t think they will have enough togetherness as a team to get out of it.

Why not? We have poor teams to play away, and have got results at better teams.

I dont think we will, but we could.
There's no indication that we will go on a remarkable away game winning run. We'll play every game with either Simms or with no striker at all playing with will make a hard fought out draw most likely against poor teams. We have the ability to win away, but it hasn't been seen for an awfully long time. I'd be happy with 5 more away points personally.

Quick question. Are we in more dangerous position this season then last season relegation battle?

I’d say last year was far more dangerous. At the point after 28 games we’d lost 5 out the last 6 and would then lose again at Burnley. The fixtures then read Chelsea United Leicester (x2) Liverpool Watford Brentford Palace.

I’m not sure too many fans would have had us down for 14 points from those games given we’d just lost 6 out of 7 and given Burnley 3 points.
