Not even bothered tbh. He has had 1 and a half decent seasons in 7 years at Everton and that was mostly down to Carlo. Sure he is good in the air but the majority of the time he has just been really frustrating. Get rid in summer and bring in a proper striker.

But his future cant lie at this football club. We cant carry him into a new season.

If he gets on the pitch again and scores or does what he did against Arsenal then brilliant. That'll be at least some contribution. But he cant have a future here. The club is primarily a football business. I mean, it's good that Everton has a mission for care in the community, but that cant extend to millionaires who kick a ball about...now and then.

All our players get better by not playing, its the Everton way. DCL has figured this out and become our star player that we can't live without by being injured. 2 or 3 years ago he was getting lambasted on here regularly with the words 'barn door' ,'cows arse' and 'banjo' cropping up regularly. He has been absent for most of this season and has become a world class CF.
