Not to debunk your weird idol worshipping of the DOF that left us with meager attacking options making the relegation battle even more daunting, we made a verbal offer , but sulemana opted for Southampton. He didn't come here because Thelwell possesses some savviness regarding players and thought he was a dud, we expressed interest and honestly being Everton he probably ended up at another team because what we offered was laughable

I dont think there's any reason for 'happiness' and neither do I detect it, tbh. Most people are just relieved to see it confirmed week in week out that there are terrible teams down there with us.

S'ton are utter turd and will take the drop for sure IMO. If Spurs beat them then they're done. City, Arsenal, Newcastle, Brighton and Liverpool to come for them. We just need 2 more to go with them. Forest need to beat Newcastle on Friday night or they'll defo timble right to the foot of the table of just above it looking at who they still have to face.

We need to get one of 6 more to join them.
 
Think you guys will be absolutely fine, Dyche is a master at what he does isn't he,

I'm starting to get very nervous as a Forest fan

Southampton look like they have quite a tough run so on that basis think they will go

They fluked a win at Chelsea 3 weeks ago or so and they were handed a final chance...which they've wasted.

A "verbal bid" means nothing Curtis. When we were quoted the asking price Big Kev put the phone down and rightly so.

Saints had their kecks pulled down.
 

There's a good chance at the weekend that for all those down the bottom apart from Wolves, who'll hopefully see Leeds off, that there'll be no points added to anyone's totals.

That'd be a good outcome, tbh. We could get past this round weeks matches no worse off (apart from seeing Wolves get clear which was always likely and WHU gaining a couple of games in hand) and we move on to our home game against Spurs after the break.
 
Even the most optimistic person on here would have to admit winning at Chelsea would be the biggest result of the season seeing as our away form is so poor, I dread to think where we will be if we dont get at least 3 points from the next 3 games, more than likely be back in the zone with 8 left to play which includes Newcastle, Brighton & Man City.....

Yes the Brentford win was needed but we are still in trouble unless we back that up with points, means nothing if we lose the next 3.....

Im going to disregard your fan fiction and ask why was he trying to recruit an attacking player on deadline day when it was obvious we needed additional attacking options in the summer? Lampard was a mediocre manager but to reiterate thelwell was behind our lackluster recruitment that has played a major factor in Everton being potential relegation candidates once again.
 
I`d take a draw if results went for us.... A win would be massive but very unlikely... think we`ll lose TBH

I think they'll still win some games in the run in. Got another away win in them and could see them going to West Ham and pressing them into errors. Could certainly beat Palace with the state they'e in and them at home to Bournemouth will decide fate of both, I can't see the loser of that game staying up.

Losing tonight though means they must win some of those rather than perhaps being o.k with a couple of draws.

Watching them tonight and they just don't have much quality at all in final third, endless options but it's very much quantity over quality. They put on that big striker and didn't find him with one cross for the 30 minutes he was on, even Rondon got on the end of the odd cross last season.

Ideal scenario is they beat some of Bournemouth, West Ham but don't pick up much in other games so finish on 31-32 points. Pretty much what you've predicted I think Dave! ;)

Thats where I disagree - if Dyche was manager from the start of the season we would likely be around 9th-12th based on current points projection despite losing Richarlison.

The signings of Tarks, Gana, McNeil and to a lesser extent Onana have all improved the starting 11 compared to what we had last season.

Lampard is the sole reason we're in a relegation scrap.

One of, not the sole reason, had he had a striker from day 1, not 5 games in, we wouldn’t have been in the position we are right now
