Newcastle playing rubbish.

That Burn for them - how on earth did he get to become a professional footballer?

Don't forget we've played at least a game more than everybody else. If teams win theirs games in hand, we are bottom. The next 3 results don't bear thinking about.

Well looking at their records, theres probably more chance of winning the lottery than all those teams win. The most likely outcome is they keep losing.

Still well, well in it and the games in hand others have will be telling. Also our next fixtures are horrid.

That said, the Dyche effect is very real. We still lack quality, especially up front, but the work rate and mentality to keep fighting is huge. 3 wins and a draw from 7 (mostly very tough) games is a superb return. Especially given that we'd only won 3 in the previous 20.

Our final 8 games are really good. Only 1 "big 6" game. If we can be in contention going into them, we will be fine.

Brentford are a tougher opposition to Spurs mate. I'm not saying we'll beat Spurs definitely, but Spurs are erratic whereas Brentford were consistent coming into that game yesterday with massive amounts of confidence.

This Spurs team wont be playing against a Lampard team that allows them loads of space to run into.

The form table certainly says you are correct.

Not sure exactly what the games in hand are without checking but as far as I can see he’s factually correct ?
If we win every game from now until the end of the season we end up with 58 points and will be safe. It is, therefore, still in our hands. This is also factually correct and is as likely as the 5 teams below us all winning their 'game in hand'.
