Even with our tough fixtures I reckon we’ll be above Palace soon.
They’re two points above us, have their game in hand away at Brighton Wednesday and then go to the Emirates Sunday!
I fancy us getting more at Chelsea than they do from both those games in their current form…

The way this season is going for the bottom 8 or so each week …. It is literally the cliche of “ one game at a time “ and reevaluate after each match week. Just focus on Chelsea for now ….

It’s not that teams will win games. Of course they will.

The problem is when they beat teams like Liverpool or Chelsea as this bumps up their overall points tally to more than expected.

We beat Arsenal so does that bump up our overall points tally to more than expected?

I dont think sacking a manager at this stage is a wise choice, tbh.

S'ton and Bournemouth have done ok in the last few weeks. I could be wrong, but none in the bottom 9 apart from Wolves have done as well as us over the last 8-10 games or so. That's a long period to grade form on too.

FSW will turn up at Leicester or West Ham in next two weeks I reckon, international break will be too tempting with still 10 games or so left.

Maybe. I dont see either Moyes or Rodgers being sacked tbh.

In fact, I dont think there'sll be any mpore managerial changes as everyone looks in with a shout of survival. We're out of that type of decision making anyway.

if teams around us (not only us) beat teams substantially higher up the table of course it means the points needed to avoid relegation is likely to increase

How? You have not explained this at all Kevin. You get the same amount of points for beating Liverpool as you do for beating Southampton.

Just because you want to make points like a 5 year old it doesn’t mean I need to respond to you in 5 year old terms.

I am not sure where these 4 wins are going to come from looking at home games v spurs, Fulham, Newcastle, man City, Bournemouth, can't see winning all at home so this season going to have to pick up more points on the road. Do well to win 3 at home so need to win 1 away wont be easy. Tasks gets even harder if just win 2 games at home need 2 away wins then
I still think home advantage in football is huge IF the home team deliver anywhere close to a decent performance.
