Spurs and Fulham home are 6 points for me. We will get a point at Utd. Lose at Chelsea. Man city home is a point. Brighton away a point. Thats 9 points. Dont get the doom and gloom.

I think it could develop that 40 points might be what’s required.

I think we need to be sensible and look at Chelsea, United, City as games to expect nothing from, so just protect the goal difference and anything from them will be huge.

It’s the games against sides around us like Palace, Leicester and Wolves away, where we need to be taking a minimum of 4 points. At home with Goodison rocking Fulham, Spurs, Newcastle become a less daunting prospect. There’s a good few wins to go in our season, let’s just hope that we do our bit and other teams drop off.

Incredibly unlikely

While it is stating the blindingly obvious we only need to get one point more or the same number of points but better goal difference than the bottom three. It will be a week to week thing, every Monday morning we are not in that bottom three is a good Monday. I can now see us scraping through again this year, hopefully.
Again hopefully Kenwright and his motley crew will read the writing on the wall, or picture not on the wall, and resign to allow people who know what they’re doing take over.

It could but I think 37 is far more likely

Oh well, if it's as easy as that we should probably have a European spot in the bag by May too. It's basically a foregone conclusion.

When 2 teams in the bottom 8 play each other do you think a draw or the highest team winning is best for us?personally I’d go for the draw
At this stage of the season, probably draws. But it will become clearer once we get into the last half a dozen games. A couple of teams getting cut adrift would definitely help us.

There are 9 teams involved at the minute, but it's very unlikely to still be 9 come May. Someone could get cut adrift and be doomed and at least one side you'd expect to go on a run (please let it be us).

Yeah it’s annoying stuff like this because I know we’ve been terrible for ages but so have loads of other teams in the league.

You literally see players launch into two footed lunges for no reason or make crazy errors as a last man every single week yet they just never do it against Everton. You hardly ever see anyone deliberately handball or slice an own goal against us either. Until last week we were on a massive run of not getting a penalty as well.

We’re due a bit of luck at some point you would think
