In some instances, yes, but not this one. So basically, if someone is in the 6 yard box on an angle, a keeper should just leave a massive space, as long as he's guarding his near post? If the players scores in the far corner then it’s a good finish, but a keeper should stop the playing scoring at his near post most of the time. What I’m saying is if Pickford wants to run out his goal and close the angle then he needs to be doing a better job and saving the shots which are quite near to him and constantly beating him at his near post.
