5 or 6 more wins needed, we arent getting that many, we are one of the worst 3 teams in the league. We have THE worse goal scoring record.....

Lots of stress coming but ultimately next season we will be a Championship team, BTW if we do go down we need to focus on just staying in existence than going straight back up....
We will struggle to stay in existence if we don't go straight back up.

The Gordon money should go further when we're buying players for promotion though.

Looks like it's very much ON again now, not that it ever went away.

At least with Dyche we've still got a chance of staying up, however small. We had next to none before his arrival.

It's going to be a rollercoaster ride between now and the end of the season.
That’s about it really. I expected us to be in and out of the relegation places for some time to come so today comes as no surprise. We are down there because we are a poor side. Anyway, anyone from and including Crystal Palace have a lot to do yet. I think this seasons relegation battle will be the tightest for many years and involve more teams than usual

We're so fecked ☹️

Yep. Play like we did today in those games and you have to back us for a few more points. Seems like it might be too little too late now.
I've said it before but not appointing Dyche sooner could be the reason we do go down. No idea why they stuck with Lampard for so long. I still believe based on what I've seen so far that Dyche can grind out enough points to keep us up the only thing going against us atm is other teams picking up results around us. If those results had went the other way the past few weeks we'd probably have a 3 or 4 point cushion from the drop.

I sit and reflect some times on how in God's name we scored 3 goals against Crystal Palace. On that basis alone, surely they will get dragged right into the mix.

Blind optimism take: Let's say 38-39 points ends up being enough to stay up, which I think is a reasonable expectation. We could theoretically stay up scoring only 5 more goals the rest of the way, if we also keep 7-8 clean sheets along the way, and if those clean sheets and goals coincide. That's a clean sheet roughly half the time from here out.

Like this: if we score only 5 goals, but they're in 5 1-0 wins, and then we get another 2 or 3 0-0 draws, we end up on 38-39 points and have a legitimate chance of sneaking by. Too hopeful? Maybe. Impossible? Not really.

Just checked the fixtures and realised this Arsenal game isn’t even a game in hand, so until April we are going to have played a game more than most of our rivals. 4/4 Leeds host Forest in a midweek with 6 games in total, while we won’t play.
