I liked the way dyche pointed out they will be looking to keep hold of the good players..
I just hope he realises the size of the task he's just put himself/Thellwell under in getting rid of the rest !!!

It's a shame because a lot of what he does is so, so good. Our ability to press them and play basically the whole game in their half is really impressive.

But he doesn't know how to set his attack to score goals. He doesn't understand the players he has. He doesn't have a structure to play the ball toward goal in any way but going wide and crossing. That just isn't good enough in 2023. The lack of goals is a feature of his management unfortunately.

Is it a feature of his management or the players he has under his watch? This Everton team can’t score goals regardless of who the manager is.
