Well, I agree that he's neither an Arteta-like distributor (soz to the haters), not an all over the pitch Cahill finisher, but he works hard, and can rapidly run the ball from our half, deep into theirs. Ifhe could only add the ability in the opposition area to contact a bovine creature's posterior with a country music stringed instrument, he'd be a real player, in my view.

Sorry, pal, but he's 30 years old now. You can keep thinking he's going to add to his game at this point in his career all you want but I've got a funny feeling you'll be wasting your time.

For the record, I don't dislike him as a player. He has his merits. That said, in an ideal world, we should be looking elsewhere to find what he brings (and more).

To be honest, I'm not expecting him to add good finishing to his game at this point, but just maybe he might be brought to a point where he could tap or nod the ball into an empty net with a 50% success rate. If that hasn't happened by the end of the season, then I'd be happy to see him leave on the best financial terms possible.

Imagine we activated the extension and then went down hahhahahahaa
Not sure how these work, like is there a point where we can’t extend the deal? Like Less than 6 months to go, doing it last summer would have saved us 3.5mil which could have helped a little bit.

Personally I want him gone he’s a terrible footballer. And I’m guessing he’s already done a deal, Fulham?

I reckon he’ll go to France, Rennes or somewhere, but I absolutely wouldn’t be surprised if we extended his contract off the back of a handful of average performances and have to carry his huge wages into the Championship with us.

Unfortunately some of our fans think Davies will come good, gray may eventually learn how to cross first time, instead of turning into Wayne sleep when he stands up a full back. Doucoure is useless with the ball at his feet, bit Of a shame it’s called football

Well they will definitely wait 100% now Imo. Like they haven’t agreed deals for Pickford and iwobi
