And Wolves. And Brighton. Crazy. I reckon we could have easily been 5 points better off by now.

Bournemouth obviously was the ideal time to get rid, but the Brighton game was the absolute cut off 100% point of no return, the fact he was allowed to continue after that point was negligence. There was no possible way he was going to turn it around after that, it was his equivalent of the 4-1 derby defeat under Benitez, which again somehow wasn’t his final game because this club are so unbelievably indecisive and incompetent.

Completely. Everything about that night, the feeling of the crowd and the lack of response from the players told you it was done. The only reason I can think he got more time is that Moshiri simply wasn't paying attention.

Hope not, WHU have some decent players - give them a CL winning manager and I think they'll shoot up the table.

I'm not sure he will be much better than Moyes mate, who is a perfect fit. Looks like a broken dressing room, and Benitez would probably make that worse. Like hes good at an awful team, but a good one, I'm not convinced.

Benitez at other teams would worry me. Just have to hope hes washed up, but I'm more fearful of him than a lot of the namea bandied about.

Average is more than enough to stay up.

Reckon most managers would prefer their squad to ours right now.
Confidence is everything in sport, once the rot sets in, hard to get out of, manager under pressure after looking safe as houses, fans start to turn. While a lot of teams will expect to be in the relegation fight, West Ham will probably be the team that all media keep saying they’re to good to go down, adding to the pressure.
