For me if you are West Ham, Palace, Leicester should they get further sucked in, is who do they get when they inevitably sack manager.

Will the fanbase really accept someone of the ilk of Big Sam? Will he still cut it?
Will a manager stake their reputation on the line with one of them clubs?

Leeds and Saints are scraping the barrel already.

I genuinely think we have hit the jackpot with Dyche in comparison to our current peers.
Let's put it this way: if I'd seen one of our relegation rivals get Dyche and then win 2 out of 3 games getting top performances from a broken team I'd be distraught.

Yep.

Exactly mate.
They're wins of Dyche style too which I think is a good sign.

Any time under Benitez and most of the time under Lampard we'd win a game via luck. But scrappy, conservative wins are straight out the Dyche hand book.
Which is a telling sign that he's making an impression on these players.

Dyche should have got it sooner - but thinking the board might just have a lucky escape with west ham/leeds/soton all potentially looking for a manager at the same time to change fortunes.

He knows the score down there. You're never safe until you're safe.

Frank would have handed them a 4 day holiday in Dubai if he'd got two wins.

Reckon if we'd got him after Bournemouth we'd be four to six points better off and argubaly further ahead of the Saints etc who beat us.

Wed also have Chris Wood as an option which would have been a massive help.

And you know what pal, scrappy wins should be the bread and butter of any team at any time.

You don't see many bad teams scrape their way to wins.

Yep. I agree - we would be in a much better position. I was willing to give Lampard benefit of doubt for a while, but with dyche you know exactly what you get - he’s a seasoned manager and has got us playing his way straight away.

It was funny, today was very edgy. I felt it, think most fans did, players seemed to at times, but Dyche seemed very relaxed, or in his element with it. This is his bread and butter.

The only managers I can feel the same was Allardyce, but also Ancelotti (who was just a class act). But he seems to know what hes doing in what is a highly stressful situation.

That is worth an enormous amount. I don't think Benitez really knew, and Lampard had no idea. They were lost. Most managers are, and I'm relieved we have Dyche at this moment in time. Hes very measured in what needs to happen, which given the nerves around the club has probably really helped the players.

I was anxious as hell today and am normally content. I think it's because their was so much riding on it. It felt flat today tbh but I get it.

Dyche is a seriously impressive individual and one I hope in time proves to have been quite under appreciated within the modern day English game.

I think we will win enough games 1 0 under Dyche to keep us up. He had a worse Burnley picking up loads of draws. We are light up front but we have more quality then they ever did to grind out results. Won’t be easy and will be ups and downs but I think he will do it.
