That is the problem many fans look at, they look at other teams results at say chelsea for saints today, saints and other teams have that shock in them probably to do that, though i didnt expect it, i dont think we do, defo not at chelsea and we have not won there since the 90s, but you never know, for me we should try and go for games that we are not expected to win
To stay up going to have to win at least once away imo. Needed that win at Leicester in tail end of last season to have a bit of breathing space.
Forest -probably more take a point given they're getting draws when falling behind to likes of Chelsea and Man. City).
Arsenal- can't see anything here. Today was them massively getting back on track and completely different to playing them at Emirates compared to Goodison.
Man. United- nah.
Chelsea- I wouldn't write this one off. It's a Potter side so average against a low block and this fixture might come just after their second leg in CL (?) so might be a bit distracted and they're miles off top 4 so league season is over.
Then after march break it's:
Palace- Low scoring but again difficult to beat at home. Even in this poor run they've got draws off Brighton, Man. United and Newcastle at Selhurst, all 1-1s.
Leicester- Hopefully the same as last season! Not sure they'll be safe though by the time that game comes around.
Wolves- Last away of the season so going to mean so much for both sides. Coady ineligible and have a really bad record v them in recent times.
Brighton- Going to have to camp in the penalty area for this. Got destroyed with endless space to run into at Goodison so Dyche will be taking notes on that.
If we're talking something like two draws out of that then it's 23 points and needing to win 5 of the last 7 at home to get to 39 points (with a further draw). I still think that's a very big ask although Dyche is fulfilling the brief nicely at Goodison so far just as Lampard did from March last season.
