Horse Racing

Free £2 multiples at Betfair sports book on Friday racing. Just noticed but still lots of time and races. I did a wild looking treble including a Dundalk runner.

It doesn't matter where they run to me though as I'm no @Eggs when it comes to the racing game.

….so, last April I get Blazing Kahl @ 28-1 in my Stayers Hurdle book but he’s not been seen, the trainer saying he’s picked up an injury so I cash my bet in. Horse comes out yesterday & sluices up & is now best price 3-1 fav.

I had a lovely looking Stayers Hurdle book but that’s thrown a fly in the ointment. I’m not backing him at 3-1, the perils of whether to cash-out or not.

…..unsurprisingly, Galvin scratched from the National. I love this horse & I put him up about this time last year but his efforts this season have even been a surprise to me.

My suspicion is Galvin will be run next season to get his handicap mark down & might even turn up at the Festival XC before a tilt at the National, I know Elliott has the race in mind for him.

….hearing a few whispers Galvin is being trained for the Cheltenham Cross-Country. Coincidentally, posted the above almost 12 months ago suggesting this might be the route.

Hoping it turns out to be true as I have him at 33-1, you would hope he can at least give Delta Work a race if he does turn up. I don’t have DW in my book at all.

….hearing Allaho will miss Cheltenham. Short priced favourite for Ryanair (always too short for my book), his absence will open it up for others who might now fancy coming here.
This worked out quite well for me as I have shiskin @ 7s and fury Road @ 8s. Janidil ran well yesterday too and has been shortened. You have an opinion on this race eggs? Shiskin sure to have a good chance.

Also do you have any other tips at the prices? Regarding the stayers I see blazing khal is favourite but surely if flooring porter does run he can see them off from the front again right?

Captain morgs in the pertemps looks like he could run well.
