No, clearly not. But Hurts' shoulder is obviously still not right either and he played through it. High level, competitive NFL players get injured all the time and will generally play through it if possible. A sprain is something you can possibly play through, the stakes of the game and the nature of the position will determine whether you are allowed to or not

Agreed. New owners need to (hopefully) find their feet and set a leadership tone that leads to success.

Another nightmare in waiting for the Donkeys.

Someone had better warn Payton he’s not going to be getting a 27 year old Drew Brees

The man is also a salary cap management disaster - the Saints are still dealing with the mess he left behind in that regard

Payton didn't manage the Saints cap at any level.
