Watched the remake of All Quiet on the Western Front. Good picture but IMO not as good as the original which was more true to the book. The book is brilliant.
I also like the 70s version.

From a French perspective I watched Paths Of Glory tonight, early kubrick in black and white, has the anti war aspect too it, with soldiers being accused of cowardice, good film.

M3GAN - Like others in here, thought it was pretty predictable, and obviously owes a debt to Child’s Play (particularly the recent-ish remake, which was more AI / robotic based, rather than supernatural like the original).

But I enjoyed it all the same, and I laughed quite a bit. I would have preferred it getting a bit nastier, but still a lot of fun.

Popping into Falmouth tomorrow and thought i'd go to the cinema. Thinking of Babylon but despite an excellent cast I've not seen much in the way of comments about it. Has anybody on here seen it.?

Normally like anything set in the 20s. Checked the Parents Guide on IMDB and it has severe under each of the 5 sub headings. Not sure I've ever seen that before. Apparently there are 165 uses of the "F" word. Did somebody really sit there and count them. lol
