January Transfer Window 2023

It depends because we have a full back issue, but we also have very limited funds. He could be an option which wouldn’t set us back much money and at least provide something different. We aren’t in a position to sign quality players in all the bad areas atm, if we get a good striker I can’t see an above average full back joining too
Come on he is useless and about to turn 33. He can’t get a game at Leicester.

Surprised Lucas Moura hasn't been linked.

Going to be released by Spurs and he was actually playing for them just before the international break and can chip in with goals.

Feels like a sort of realistic and experienced signing who would be worth the gamble for six months.

Gordon told Everton he wanted to leave, there was also rumours of dressing disharmony with him being front and centre. Makes perfect sense for all parties

Also, Sean Dyche will never EVER get a chance to manage a club this big again. They could have told him he’d be fielding from the youth team and he would have signed.
Disagree, dyche would have got a prem club eventually,
Maybe not as big as us, he’s not a mercenary like Sam who couldn’t careless. Dyche still has his career to think about moving forward. I doubt he just accepts anything the club offer.

Also stones put a transfer request in
And we didn’t sell, you’re basically making out we would have sold not matter what Newcastle offered.

Anyway I think we will spend money in the next 2 days, let’s wait and see

There honestly isn't a player bad enough player, in all of world football, where someone on this forum wouldn't say "he could do a job for us". Just on this thread today we've had people seemingly happy about Ryan Fraser, Che Adams and now Ryan Bertrand.

For the record, he'd be mince.
Look at these standard no wonder we are heading to the Championship if fans are happy with these.

£150k per week.

So we want the Brazilian Walcott for the next 3 years?

Averages a goal every 8 games playing alongside Kane, son and eriksen. Not good enough

Exactly the type of signing why we are in the current situation...buying player at the wrong side of their peak and pay them huge sum of money on stupid long contracts. This window we should prioritise young hungry players.
Agree and disagree. This window is about us staying up, we need player that can make an impact now. Antonio 5 years ago fine, Antonio now is ridiculous

Look at our position and what do you expect , it’s not like our new manager is going to attract any quality because of his pedigree?
We are currently a bottom of the table team teetering on the edge of the Championship.
We really need to curb our expectations at present.

Since this tread opened in November there must be millions of words of discussion about potential signings and so far absolutely nothing. Makes you think there must be better things to do ?
