The Everton Board Thread

No, I dont expect that. And that's not what's happened.

The fans have fought back and now marginalised the board making them outcasts forever.

Job done. They are zombies waiting for the spade through their necks.

Dont focus on them, focus on the team. Because if we dont then we'll take the drop.

This all gets resolved once the season is over. No way Moshri will keep that lot on, and no way will a new owner entertain it.

Bill is done. Once you lose his cosy media links, there is no way back.

For the next several months, its the crowd, the team, and the manager. As one.

The board aren`t irrelevant, as they and the space cadet, that owns us, are the root cause of where we find ourselves now as a club.

If you give Kenwright and in inch, he`ll be back to greasing up, his pet journos and starting another campaign of misinformation and downright lies.

You don`t invent thing like the blatant lies of the headlock, smearing the fans and then expect people to stand back and just take it.
While individual managers and players have contributed to our demise, the root cause of our decline is the negligence at the top that's epitomised Moshiri's era.

He/they have chosen the managers; they've facilitated the purchases of dross on excessive wages, and in some cases they themselves have forced the deals.

They have chosen the DoFs, and again have previously undermined the leadership structure through their own meddling - think Tosun as a prime example.

Moreover, they've allowed external parties (certain agents) to influence our transfer dealings to the benefit of others. Naivety or downright negligence?

The board are the problem - they're the catalyst for everything else; all the above is the result of what they have or, perhaps more importantly, haven't done.

If anyone has the belief that overnight they'll somehow begin to make the right choices, I would strongly advise they give their heads a massive, massive wobble.

The second the protests stop, or the fans stop trying to change the board, then the likes of Kenwright will get his media pals to paint a Rosie picture of how the board have now got the fans back on board, and then it’s an even bigger task.
You seen how easy it was for one press release to paint the fans in such a bad light, whether it was true or not.
If I'm a player or manager and I'm doing my best on the pitch and getting results, and the club isn't a happy enough place to be in, I'm wondering WTF I'm pulling my tripes out for.

Get your three top priorities in order:

These dismissals are not going to happen during the season. You KNOW this.

It's misplacded energy that should be locked onto the support of the playing side of the club in this existentail struggle we face.

Its not misplaced energy. Bill Kenwright thinks #AllTogetherNow is another Blue Union. That the tactics he used then will work now

He's completely miscalculated, as autocratic egotistical individuals like him always do

As @MaupsGoat says. There should be no let up in terms of pressure and protests until Bill Kenwright is far away from the club. Never to return

We need to keep the pressure on the board and owner, there should be no let up especially since they through the fans under the bus, the same fans who pulled together to help the team avoid relegation last season and yet here we are again in the same position. It's criminal to let these people continue to be in charge of the decisions that run this wonderful football club, we can still support the manager and players on matchdays and still continue the champaign to oust them for benefit of our history.

As ive said, im able to hound this board out and also support the manager and the players.

Its ok Dave, I can multitask, there are 7 days in a week.

It's bizarre that davek thinks it's either/or

davek can do what he likes but I and many like me are going to see "Headlock gate" Bill Kenwright and Denise Barrett Baxendale out of Everton Football Club

Their poor behaviour. Their ineptitude. Their poor performance.

Unfit to be in the roles they are

That's not what a player will see. They'll see a club tearing itself apart and their onfield opponents will see it too, and it'll benefit them not us.

Nothing stops @davek

This is far bigger than the here and now and "putting it to one side"

The sooner this ends the better and they need removing once and for all. This isn't like a lightswitch where fans get to choose to turn off their anger towards them

They literally chucked all Evertonians under a bus a couple of weeks ago. That's never to be forgiven or forgotten
