Final Destination 3
Really disliked the opening sequence this time, as every character managed to be an annoying prick here. Therefore my hopes weren't exactly high for the rest of the movie. Luckily it really picked up after this, and it turned out really well. If it weren't for the opening, it'd be my favorite of the franchise for sure. Some great deaths as well. 6/10

The Final Destination
Wow, this is the blandest horror film I've seen in years. There's literally zero personality to any of the characters. The film's so boring it's actually offensive, and it's filled with horrible CGI. The only reason it doesn't get a 1/10 is a fun death towards the end of the movie and a decent pair of taytays (which is rare for this era of horror films). I almost felt bad for the actors, because they really tried. They're just really bad at their jobs (while portraying extremely poorly written characters). So be warned, these 82 minutes felt like three hours. Can't believe I got through it. If the fifth one is as bad as this, I don't know what I'll do. Also, I can't believe they got Bubba from Forrest Gump to act in this fiasco. 2/10

The Mummy (1932)
It's an atmospheric and good looking movie for sure, though it's a bit dull at times. My least favorite of the Universal Monster movies I've seen thus far, but still worth the watch. Karloff stole the show solely because if his looks. 6/10

Went to the cinema to watch Banshees of Inisherin, last night.

Absolutely brilliant. Great acting, great scenery, great everything.

They just got everything right with it.

The cast, a mix of relative unknowns / stalwarts like Farrell and Gleeson.

The location, the writing, the sets, the hidden symbolism.

Colin Farrell has really moved up a gear these days too.

The pivotal moment in his acting career to me, was his performance in the tv drama - the North Water.

Everything, Everywhere, All at Once. I was vaguely aware of the concept and interested to know how it translated to the screen. I was not disappointed. Absolutely frenetic, mental stuff that wasn't as hard to follow as I thought it would be. Some gut punch emotional moments and a standout central performance from Yeoh really put the icing on the cake. Have never seen a movie like it, and it shot straight into my all time favourite sci-fis

I reckon I’m the only person that didn’t rate it. Everything about it I should have liked but I just didn’t vibe with it at all. Got kinda bored.
