So this afternoon the Guardian has been briefed that Moshiri is looking to sell the club.

A few hours later Everton release a video filmed before the West Ham game where Moshiri says he's not looking to sell the club.

Your guess is as good as mine.

Oh and Newcastle had £500m worth of stadium build did they? They had a stadium built, we have to fund ours and that means a new owner finding that funding too.
I would imagine a competent board or owner could find investment. Or, you know, owners as rich as the state funded owners will just fund it themselves.

The Guardian just rehashing old stories. If you read past their clickbait title the article states:

"Everton have been put up for sale by Farhad Moshiri, who is looking for offers of more than £500m for the Premier League club.

In recent months Moshiri has sought outside investment but he has finally put Everton on the market, and would consider a minority or majority sale. A number of potential buyers have expressed interest."

Key point in bold - a minority sale isn't selling the club its seeking investment.

Whilst Moshiri's interview was prior to the WHU game according to the FAB I doubt he's changed from a deal close to investment to wanting gone completely.

I am going to be regaling the events of these past few days / weeks to my great-grandkids in 40 years time. This is stuff of folklore.

“Grandad, did all that REALLY happen though?”

“Yes my lad, yes it did, and I was there”.
One of the most surreal nights I've experienced on here since "Crystanbul".

A majority sale is tho. And you've bolded that.

I dunno, it's not a tabloid.
They got their news from somewhere official.
I'd say a lot of journalists are getting as sick of everton as the fans.
