Who should replace Frank Lampard?

Literally shows how incompetent they are... they clearly didnt have a plan when the sacked Lampard, and now that some have said no to them, that's their 'go to' option? Sam Allardyce...Clueless.

The choice of manager must be based on the direction the club wants to take, based on a long-term plan. E.g. is, there is little point in employing T Frank, if you do not buy the method at the same time. But here it is actually one man who has the answer, and that is the man with the 120 point plan, Kevin Thelwell. He is, after all, hired to transform the club.
Yes, in any sane world Thelwell should be leading the recruitment, and he should have had a dossier of names who fit with his direction of travel on the board’s desk weeks ago.

But history suggests he will be ignored, and I dread to think what happens if he takes the hump and quits after being overruled on the manager. We’ll end up, again, in the last week of the window with the board scrambling for a second rate manager while Bill works the phones on transfers.

As if any more proof we’re needed, the fact they’re talking to Allardyce again tells you our entire club is run by basket cases. They’ve not got a clue. There’s zero plan. They’re not letting Thelwell do the job he’s employed to do.

Moshiri needs to sell, the boardroom needs gutting, and half the team needs punting out the door. Absolutely piss poor from top to bottom and I can barely support it anymore.

The financial situation/Off the pitch footballing structure would surely put off any credible candidate. Take Thomas Frank for example. How could he give up that beautiful Brentford Eutopia for this. The only selling point is that they might see it as a stepping stone to a top job. If they are able to achieve anything close to stability at Everton it would be a feather in their caps for better jobs
Not saying he'd come here (I'm pretty certain he wouldn't) but the question for people like Thomas Frank is always at what point are you going to hit a ceiling in the job you're in, and is it better to move on before that happens while your stock is still high.

Sam may have not been the saviour he claims he was, but he unarguably did better than the manager he took over from.

Football changes quickly and I’d say PL playing styles are hugely different even since last time he was here. Which simultaneously feels like 5 minutes and 5 decades ago. The same old tricks don’t work anymore.

Has anyone heard anything at all from the club regarding targets?

Seems there are a lot of heads falling off over twitter rumours.

No one knows who we want or we are sounding out.

Even Jim White jumping on the twitter bandwagon saying he's heard it's Bielsa we are after then says he can't get a reply from Moshiri.

No one knows a thing.
