Oh Hibbo!

Can't criticise the Hib today, we had 13+ corners, and Gueye and Osman struggled to beat the first man. I used to think it was just Arteta - but it seems the bootman of the groundsman that works the corner grass are up to something.

Tony Hibbert reminds me of Chris Martin trying to bat.

I genuinely felt a bit shakey for about ten minutes after listening to him miss that chance. I feel ashamed because a part of me didn't want him to score if I wasn't there. Most of me actually.

Longest serving player to never have scored a first team goal?

How the ***k we keep playing this guy.

Good defender, total GASH with the ball at his feet.

I don't think he's connected with any player from a cross this year?

STATS!

STAT!

Disagree. He's decent. I love him

He crossed for one of Vellios' goals against someone. Forget who

Bit harsh - he had a good game yesterday. And I think his crossing has improved over the years. He actually looks keen to get up the wing these days.

I love Hibbo, me.

Oh and for the shot - I genuinely got excited when it was falling to him and when he took position to shoot - you can just see he has no clue how to shoot good, especially with his left foot. Never seen someone look more awkward shooting. Hopefully his right foot shots are awesome, as I hear he's been banging them in in training, and back when he was a little lad he was famous for that.

So, for all those who claim Hibbo is our most soild defender.

4.50 on this video : http://www.101greatgoals.com/gvideos/everton-1-norwich-1-motd/

About 60 mins in, Norwich have the ball over on their left and they float a ball over to the right where Holt ghosts in and just puts his header wide, which if scored would of put us 2 down.

You can't see perfectly from those highlights but Hibbo was asleep/ballwatching and never reacted to Holts run before it was too late instead of being alert and tracking his man earlier.

Yes he is a good tackler, and yes he has improved to an average standard when going forward.

But as i pointed out last week and just got met with a laugh rather than a decent reply, Hibbo is poor defensively in positions like the above whenj it comes to being alert and in the correct position.
