A groups of guys with hoods on chasing a young lad’s car down a residential street before physically blocking said car and then banging on the young lad’s car windows threateningly whilst singing ‘get out of our club’….

This sort of behaviour isn’t conducive to getting the best out of the kid.

If that happened to me I’d never want to play for the club again.

It’s even worse than the dog’s abuse that lads like John Stones and Lukaku used to get every home game.

How about some of the players grow a spine now and again and doing what they are paid for

No, its fine mate. People are angry and have every right to be. Hes a sh*thouse for not getting out of his car and talking to the gang of angry scallies apparently.

I dont even like Gordon, but its symptomatic of the toxicity that is, according to some, apparently not a thing at the club.

Anger and aggression and threatening behaviour is fine because its "peoples lives" or something.

I don’t remember Lukaku getting dogs abuse at any game I was at, but I’m in the Park End, so maybe he was by the Gwladys or where you sit..

I do remember Stones getting stuck for his Cruyff turn in our 6 yard box, but it was hardly dogs abuse ffs!

Lost the game because of him the knob
It was a stupid, naive challenge that he did. But I really blame poor refereeing. The free-kick was taken about 6-8 yards further back from where the foul took place. If that kick was from the correct spot, it needs a world-class kick to get the ball over the wall. Pickford was crap too tho.

It's not like it dipped just under the bar mate it nearly bounced before crossing the line. A couple yards further forward would've made no difference. It was an awful foul to give away and equally bad keeping

I don’t see what Chelsea/Spurs see in him, but would have massive respect for the lad after what happened if he popped up on YouTube signing a new deal, saying he was up for the fight, accepts criticism and will work hard etc etc. Not exactly signing of the season, but might at least bring back a bit of siege mentality instead of everyone arguing amongst themselves about headlocks and board statements.

The foul was just by the penalty area. Much harder to get the dip from that close in. I agree, it wasn't a brilliant free-kick. But those extra 6-8 yards made it a much easier place to score from. Just my opinion, and Pickford should still have done better.

It genuinely frazzles my brain that EFC thought it was a good idea not to accept the offer from Chelsea for him in the summer.

I said at the time that we should have bitten Boehly’s hands off when they came in with that offer. He was new to the league and desperately throwing crazy money around in an attempt to make a statement. We won’t get that opportunity again.

As we’ve seen a few times in the past, Gordan is just another totally bang average (at best) player, who is still only anywhere near our squad due to the fact he’s scouse.

He does still have it in him, somewhere, to firstly be dangerous, and secondly to not be so thick on the pitch.

He does have pace, which he doesn’t know how to use, but that’s exactly what we say we need. He also seems to score tap ins. He does get himself around the keeper for scraps, something which Dom and Gray don’t do. McNeil is still lumbering his way over the halfway line. Iwobi has clearly been banned from entering the box.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t find him likeable, and he’s experienced enough to not play the young=inconsistent card. That’s a cop out.

My main worry is we are about to spend upwards of £15m on some young winger from somewhere who will take 2 months to settle, could end up being worse, and thinks Wales is in England, never mind having any idea about Everton. Slapping some sense into Gordon would be quicker and cheaper.

I think its pervasive society wide now, because we are close to it with Everton we see that side of it but it seems to be an ever increasing issue on a much wider scale
