We got £75M + £15M add ons...which I didn't completely add in for obvious reasons, but some of it would have been triggered having played two seasons for United.

Even if we said Lukaku went for just €90M (fee plus just £5M in add ons) we also got

£4m Niasse, £5M Oviedo, £9M Cleverley, £10M Deulofeu, £8M Funes-Mori, £3M McCarthy, £4.5M Lennon, £500K McGeady.

= €50M

Which is total fees in of €140M....plus whatever we got for undisclosed fees from Eto'o and Rodriguez, and Holgate's sale in the coming season or so.

In the end we'll see about a €15M-€20M net profit on Matinez's dealing.

Niasse went of a free.
oviedo would of been a maximum of £2m (he was also a moyes signing).
Eto was a free.
Rodriguez was a free.
holgate hasnt been sold.
Lennon was £1m.

Lukaku wouldn't of activated any of his add on fees because he didn't play enough games, score enough goals or win anything there and they made a loss on him when they sold him.

Ffs its like talking to a naughty child talking to you. Making up lies and hopeing no one will correct them.

Linked with wingers like Elanga all week when the manager’s playing 352 for the third time in 4 games, a system that doesn’t require wingers at all. Pick a formation and recruit for it.

Maybe he can't play the winger formation until he gets said wingers...

How about we do the business we probably need anyway.

Pay the £4m for Coady m, so we’ve at least got a solid CB pairing next season.
Given the possibility we might be genuinely strapped for cash, we shouldn't even think about exercising Coady's option until the last month of his loan.

If that £4m is the difference between us signing a decent attacker or not, why spend it someone who's already here?

Oviedo and Gibson went to Sunderland for a joint fee of £7.5M plus another £1.5M of add ons. https://www.skysports.com/football/...n-bryan-oviedo-and-darron-gibson-from-everton
Toffeeweb have that as £5M for Oviedo and the rest of the inital fee on Gibson.

Eto'o was a fee and was sold for an undisclosed amount. Toffeeweb: "Though the final terms of the move were not officially disclosed, the deal was reported in Italy to involve appearance and performance-related clauses to compensate Everton in lieu of a nominal transfer fee."

Rodriguez left to Danubio for an undisclosed fee according to Toffeeweb Transfer records.

TBF, youl;re right on Niasse and Lennon, but even if I give you Niasse and Lennon and take that £7M off it still gives us €133M total fees in....and that's not adding in the undisclosed fees for Eto'o and Rodriguez OR the fee Everton will get for Holgate.

Keep away from Transfermarket.

Would it possibly be too free up a loan spot for someone far more expensive??
