Even watching these other relegation threatened teams, I think practically all of the teams playing in the Prem are visibly better than Everton.
I genuinely don’t think I’ve watched a single team in a good 4 or 5 years that I haven’t thought aren’t better than Everton visually, even losing teams. This sounds silly but there’s honestly a spell during every match that I question if the opposition team is playing with 12 men or if we’ve got someone sent off that I missed. Honestly every day

Visually we’re probably one of the worst teams in the entire football pyramid to watch. If you told me that out of 92 teams there are 90 teams better to watch than Everton the only question I would have is who is the one who’s worse and how is that possible?

We've had players like doucore and davies.
We're anti football.
We are the definition of cloggers.

The gap between us in 19th and Leicester in 13th is 2 points. Still ridiculously tight in that bottom half when you think about it.

Over 50% of the season to go. Teams don’t get relegated in January
Bottom 3 after 18 games:
21/22: Norwich (R), Newcastle, Burnley (R)
20/21: Sheffield United (R), West Brom (R), Fulham (R)
19/20: Norwich (R), Watford (R), Aston Villa
18/19: Fulham (R), Huddersfield (R), Burnley
17/18: Swansea (R), West Brom (R), Newcastle

Over the last 5 seasons, 11 of the 15 sides that were in the bottom 3 after 18 games got relegated (73%).
Of the 4 teams that weren't in the relegation zone after 18 games and still got relegated, 3 of them were in 17th place.

It might be impossible to get relegated in January but it gives a pretty clear indication of where you're going to finish.

But here’s the thing.

You have just posted Benitez’s record after 19 games.

The fact is in the final 15 of those games we lifted 10 points out of a possible 45.

Two wins in that run.

That is pure relegation stuff.

Frank obviously ain’t the answer.

But let not kid ourselves than Benitez was any better.
Wasn`t suggesting Rafael was, he should never have got the job, but we thought it couldn`t get worse.

Frank added 8 or 9 of his own players and yet we sit 19th in the league.
