Nothing like heaping the humiliation on national telly - good times keep on a rollin'.
It's a time-honoured Kenwright play. Remember Walter at Middlesbrough? A manager has to be subjected to unmerciful and unnecessary ritual humiliation in front of the nation before Bill ever feels he has the moral right to act. Cruel and unusual punishment must be administered so that the victim, essentially, begs for Bill's mercy and goes into the Evertonian afterlife owing a debt of gratitude to Coronation Street's greatest prodigal son.

There's no point at all in sacking Frank, as we still have the same useless, incompetent board who would make a mess of the next appointment.

In a world where Pochettino and Tuchel are available (and even if they wanted the job), you could guarantee the board would be looking at Martinez and Moyes as they never learn.
We have not brought any ex managers back during this time.

We somehow went and got Ancelotti too so...

This Martinez link does totally show how misinformation spreads around the world though, it's so easy, no wonder we (the world) is in the mess it is in.

Actually, the fella who wrote that is an utter plant pot, ignore it all.

Thomas Frank
Right now, it would seem crazy for Frank to even consider leaving Brentford, where he has done a magnificent job. He is pound for pound one of the best managers in the league and very recently signed a new contract. Nevertheless, Everton may feel it would be silly not to make an approach and see whether they can tempt him to Goodison. With proper backing from the board, Frank has all the attributes to keep Everton safe and revitalise their fortunes.

PWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHA
Oh aye cos we’ve got the money to be paying compensation for him to Brentford after he’s just signed a new 5 year contract ? absolute clueless ‘journalism’

Frank thought we could out play Brighton and go toe toe with them by changing previous match formation. They are good side currently. Was aghast when i saw the change in formation. Most here know this current Everton squad is no where near Brighton, so go defensive and wait for the opportunity as we did against city. This is biggest worry for me another delusional Martinez type is Frank.

This was my fear too. It was so predictable.

The starting 11 for Brighton cost less than Iwobi.
Doesn't that just illustrate how useless Frank and his coaching team are. The players in our squad are playing like idle donkeys, but surely they must have something about them to get where they are. They should be being coached to bring the best out of them, to improve them. Just look how those Brighton lads have been brought on. None of them cost a fortune, but they played us off the park. How many of our current squad have been improved over the past 12 months. 'Nuff said. Time up Frank. His great playing career has carried him this far, but no further.

You are talking about hove albion.. at home.

And its sad you ate absolutely right. Even sadder if we had of went defensive and just lost by the odd goal we probably would accept that. And be happy enough if we managed a point.

And it's not in an attempt to rescue bad form. Its just where we both are as clubs. Spending half a billy to get to that low level. Playong brigjton at home like we would a top 2 side.. Must young blues didnt know who they where a few years ago.
