Get him sacked you silly bastards why is he still here
They're that inept they cant even put Lampard out of his misery.

It's clear that we need a new manager by that S'ton game, but this lot will hand him the United cup game and then start a month long search for his successor...by which point we'll be all but relegated.

I think the key problem is the ownership and I’d focus on that rather than the likes of Graeme Sharp - I don’t think he’s a key part of the problem. Or Grant Ingles

Some fans don’t seem to have any resilience or perspective - football is so much about confidence and the fans help create fear at times in the players and staff, when actually support would help their confidence more. Some fans don’t seem to have the resilience to remain positive through difficult runs
I don’t think it’s unrealistic as a fan to expect a man getting paid 30k a week upwards to at least be able to move, control or pass a football.

Lay off the fans you whopper. They didn’t just get humiliated 4-1 by Brighton or get thumped by Brentford l.

I think everyone is unanimous in liking Lampard but it's now becoming clear he got the job because the board are utterly clueless. Worryingly they will be even more clueless now as they prepare for yet another managerial search.

Something to watch out for over the next couple of weeks is Lampard throwing people under the bus. Towards the back end of his Chelsea stint this became a common theme. See the same happening here.
There are people he should rightly call out

Ancelotti is a pragmatic manager, and in the right context he is excellent. But he was never the right man for a club like Everton. What Everton needed was a manager who built for the future. I said it at the time, it's gambling, if we didn't succeed with the short-term (expensive) investments it would bite us in the ass in the future.

Managers wont get time to build here.
They're expected to turn water into wine with what they have.

It is not the fans who should show resilience, but the coaches and players. This separates the best from those who are not good enough. Resilience is not only about tolerating stress, etc., but also about learning. From this perspective, it can be argued that the fans have been too loyal for a long time, and the only way to move forward is to replace the decision makers. This is learning. Because the decision-makers make repeated mistakes, along with the manager, which go beyond the well-being of the fans.

It can also be argued that in crises you need clear information and a clear plan. This is completely absent. And aren't the fans what keep this merry-go-round alive, and weren't they the ones who really helped Everton through a tough time last year?

I don't think this is true. Lampard would get years if he kept us away from relegation. I think he's a really poor manager but was more than happy to say there's two full seasons providing we aren't looking like we're heading for the drop.

Wether we like it or not this is a relegation level squad. I cba going into individual players again. But we are.

If the owners have a plan, and this is clearly communicated externally, and if they bring in competent people who do not underperform, then they will get time. Most supporters can tolerate some losses, as long as they can identify with or recognize what is happening on the pitch. But time is relative, and there must be some form of reinforcement along the way.
