Surely there can't be any delusional fans and I would question they are actually a fan of the club, that still supports Lampard. He has been a mess since Newcastle away in his first league game. Things have not improved, in fact astonishingly we have got worse.
Embarrassing performance after embarrassing performance resulting in tonight's shameful debacle. He must go now to give any new manager a fighting chance

How did Qatar get license for the world Cup? How come the Saudis wanted to buy the toon? Its OK for them to engage in politics about the game, but not us?
You do realise "us"/"we" are currently trying to win the 2030 bid is it, I think? Despite the fact that as a nation in the last ~20 years we've invaded Afghanistan murdering god knows how many, then invaded Iraq killing a million+, then setting Libya on fire - all whilst bombing the living shyte out of the middle east - or at very least, selling billions of £££ to other nations to do it on our behalf. Tell me Qatar has more blood on it's hands than UK and I'll sell you a bridge on the moon... but you wont ever hear a peep about that from the media, because it doesn't suit the narrative.

I really really REALLY do not want to derail the thread from football to politics -and whilst you are correct, the Middle East is clearly evidence of how money talks- we cannot NOR SHOULD NOT bury our heads in the sands and play holier-than-thou.

I don't hide anything. Ask one of my butlers.

(A butler is a house servant in case you wozn't tought dat in skool. A "skool" is a - ah never mind, we'll be going round in circles forever here. If only Frank was a "Tockie socialist" we'd be sitting pretty in 13th. Or 10th. Or 8th. Right? His politics are why we have 15 points after 18 games and have just been turned over. No point in any further discussion if this is your thinking).
Bad divvy you

UK has got nothing to do with the 2030 World Cup bid.

Saudi Arabia will end up winning it, with a joint bid with Greece and Egypt, most likely.

Anyway, Lampard's a dead average manager and we've got a dead crap squad and a poor DoF and a board full of complete charlatans who should have been turfed out years ago.

I agree he must go.

But he's had tonight in his starting 11

Goalie who doesn't wanna be here.
RB debut PL season
LB 2nd PL season
Two new CBs
Davies who has six months to go on deal and on way out.
McNeil who is new to the club.
Gray.
DCL who is recovering from a year out.
Gana who has just returned from world Cup and only signed six months ago.

His subs.

Price. Debut.
Doucoure. Contract running out.
Maupay. Debut season.
Simms. Debut PL season.

Mina. Contract running out. Doesn't wanna be here.

They are not mate. Last time we won a title Maggie Thatcher was in charge, so stop being a prat and talk about football….
Yes they are, sport and politics, music and politics, they are always and always will be intertwined.

They have nothing to do with whether or not Frank Lampard needs to be binned, though.

Keep the faith. Frank will turn it around.

Anyone else concerned that the OS published his post-match interview? I’d imagine if we did the right thing and binned him after the match, we wouldn’t want to acknowledge his existence until we broke the news.

Awful feeling we’re stuck with him for a bit longer. Doubt he goes out on the back of an Expected Defeat so it’ll be the Southampton humiliation that does for him.

Might put a bet on 0-9…
