You'd think with the 11 day break between league games that now would be the ideal time to let him go. He's showing no signs of turning it around. I expect they'll have a caretaker for the United game then the new manager announced a day later and the week before the next league game. I suspect based on our previous form that they'll already have a few candidates lined up for interview. I reckon your man Martinez will be one of them.
Everton - doing things that fast?!

Month long search this will be....ending with Dyche.

History repeating itself in so many ways, and not just the hire and fire carousel.

The hammering at Bournemouth was Frank's 2-5 Watford moment. Demarai Gray's wonder goal against City was a reprise of his wonder goal against Arsenal and was the last false dawn before the inevitable.

I imagine we'll be managerless by the cup tie...

I don't think that's for certain. Honestly before a ball was kicked this season I thought we'd be fighting relegation and at the end of the last window I thought maybe we'd have enough to be about 14th, but that quickly changed once I realised we had no way of attacking or quality in the squad.

We're crap. And we'll be crap under another manager because the players are awful.

Someone like Moyes or Dyche would have us 14th. I've never thought Lampard was up to the job; mainly because there is no style to the play or plan. It's been terrible from day 1.

Hope you're wrong on that one mate. This one needs to be swift and an experienced appointment. I reckon the candidates will be Nuno, Dyche, Martinez and some left field option with no Premier League experience
