Have Everton lined up any players to come in Jan 1st? Like certain other clubs...

Any rumours even?

Lampard will be sacked before we bring any new players in....
That’s the big question. Rationale tells me they must have signings lined up but my confidence in this happening is low .. very worrying times because no decent strikers signed and we are in deep trouble ..

Goes without saying a striker, one who can kick the ball at the goal preferably. I genuinely think we won't get a striker who scores more than 5 goals from January until the end of the season though. I actually think that'll go a long way to keeping us up if we have any sort of focal point up front.
Other areas are just as key. We need a winger who isn't a fairy and a midfielder who can progress the football.
Extra efforts to sell the usual suspects Keane/Holgate/Davies/Doucoure. Wouldn't complain if they left for free if it gave us extra room to buy someone less useless. In short, I think we're screwed. Hoping other teams are worse than us again is all we have left
Sums it up really well unfortunately ..

I'm losing count of the amount of players that we just dont quite offer enough for and then they become twice the price following outstanding displays. It's like theyre almost in the bag but we just cant resist haggling for a bargain buy and it backfires on repeat.
Guess that's being skint!

But we are 100% in talks with numerous clubs over numerous players.

That you can be certain.

I know we need them in 1st Jan, but honestly, its not really that easy.

Its a sellers market, especially for the desperate.

Unfortunately unless someone like Fab tweets it people will pretend we’re doing nothing.

Neville was very good in CM until he reached the tail-end of his career, much better than the dross we are dealing with right now. Heitinga less so, but streets ahead of our modern day garbage.

I'm not necessarily writing Garner off forever, just stating the fact that there's been no evidence of him playing well in the PL, and that he's struggled to get into Everton's crappest ever side. There seems to be a real aversion to acknowledge this amongst Evertonians, as if he's actually been a great signing when he hasn't been at all. Thus far, he's been a very poor signing that can't even get on the pitch, never mind take control of it.
Yep totally get all that, what I said was you cannot judge him yet as he hasn’t had the minutes for us to see what he can do?

Plus Neville was a good captain, average left back and terrible in midfield
