I think we could get Pochettino. He’s not getting the champions league jobs he probably thought he would after leaving PSG, so a well paid prem job would probably appeal. He’s have more tactical nous than Lampard seems to have.

We have enough pulling power to get someone who isn't completely useless.

Wolves promised a pot of transfer cash and actually have some very consistent creative players in amongst their average cart horses. Neves, Podence etc will always create something in a match. We will be at the limit of allowable spending so bargain hunting, and have zero creative players or fit goal scorers.

We have now tried all variations. Too attacking non set piece practicing motivational speaker, red bauble buying Barca legend, long ball defensive dinosaur, young up and coming mumbling big-watched relegation champion (who is now ahead of us with his Championship team), multi UCL winning beach walking point grinder, beloved RS icon, young passionate intelligent non promotion getting interview master.

What is left? Sky-calling nut job? Dyche? Bloody Duncan? England women’s manager on a job share basis? Throwing £10m per year at Emma Hayes to come here would be a massive disservice to her at this point.

I think our results over the last few years would be identical if we broke tradition and had no manager or coaches at all. Makes no difference. Certainly they’d be the same if we didn’t have Maupay.

Moyes or Bielsa maybe but it still would be foolish to sack a manager again just before an important transfer window

If Moshiri is out of the picture and - as I suspect - not making football decisions any longer, then I think Martinez will be getting a call soon.

The thinking will be that he can get players to play to feet and get goals, and the defence with Coady and Tarkowski and their last ditch defending will be enough to save RM from himself in that respect.

Ok after today who do you think we should get to replace Frank, think careful as some managers wouldn’t be a good fit for us. I’m thinking Dyche would probably be our best bet at this moment in time, not glamorous but he’s a strong character and wouldn’t take any ?
